Conditions and Expectations for Rental Guests of Camas Meadows Bible Camp
We are honored to serve you at Camas Meadows Bible Camp. Please ensure that all activities conducted on site are honoring to Christ and consistent with CMBC’s mission of: “Providing a place for people to encounter God through the beauty of His creation, the truth of His word, and the love of His people.”
All renters must be representing a Christian Church, Family or Organization and that there is a faith based element as part of your event.
Financial Information:
-Deposit: A $1000 deposit is due to reserve your dates with your Rental Agreement. This deposit is refundable if your retreat is cancelled at least 90 days before your retreat. Your deposit can be subtracted from your total amount due or you may roll over your deposit to reserve the same dates on the following year.
-Payment can be made by cash, check or online with credit card or paypal.
-Full payment is due upon arrival or within 10 days of departure.
Cancellation Policy:
Due to the hardship caused to Camas Meadows by late cancellations, the following charges will be incurred for cancelling a retreat:
90 days or less: Loss of Deposit.
60 days or less: 25% of your minimum total group fee.
30 days or less: 50% of your minimum total group fee.
Cancellations must be made in writing.
Policy Exceptions:
Road/pass closure due to snow or fire activity that prevents access to Camas Meadows for the full day of travel as established by the WSP or WSDOT.
Facility and Program Use:
During the use of the Camp Facilities, the Rental Guests shall comply with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
-Fireworks, hunting, firearms, ammunition, explosives and the use of flammable or poisonous substances are prohibited at the Camp Facilities.
-Pets are not permitted at Camas Meadows without permission granted from Camp Staff.
-Alcohol use, recreational drug use and unmarried sexual activity of any kind are not allowed at the Camp Facilities. Smoking is permitted only in a designated area.
-Campfires: Outdoor fires are only allowed in the established fire pit on the meadow, with the exception of the tube hill fire ring, which may be used during the winter. Prior authorization from the Camp Director must be obtained for outdoor fires and a water source must be prepared.
-Tube Hill: The tube hill must be supervised by at least two adult staff at all times. Building jumps on the tube run or chaining tubes are not allowed. Use of snow boards, skis or sleds is prohibited on the tube run. See Camp Staff for an alternative location for these activities.
-Slip-n-Slide: the slip-n-slide must be supervised by at least two adult staff at all times. See Camp Staff for additional instructions and rules for use of the slip-n-slide.
-Paintball: The paintball course must be supervised by at least two adult staff at all times. See Camp Staff for instructions and rules for use of the paintball course.
-Dunk Tank: The Dunk Tank must be supervised by at least two adult staff at all times. See Camp Staff for instructions and rules for use of the Dunk Tank.
Health and Safety:
-The Rental Guest is responsible for ensuring that all health and safety requirements are adhered to.
-Please notify Camp Staff immediately of any safety concerns or potential malfunction of program elements.
-Please notify Camp Staff immediately of any injury or illness that occurs at the Camp Facilities.
-Camas Meadows Bible Camp does not provide medical supervision, treatment, maintenance, or dispensing of medications for campers. These responsibilities belong to the Rental Guest.
-The Rental Guest agrees to furnish a qualified adult to provide basic health supervision. A qualified adult is at least 21 years of age and possesses at least a certificate of training in the principles of first aid and CPR. Rental Guests are responsible to bring their own first aid supplies and equipment.
Vehicle Use:
Use of vehicles at the site is restricted to roads and designated parking areas. Posted speed limits shall be obeyed. Use of ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles or other recreational vehicles is not provided by Camas Meadows or covered by camp insurance.
Insurance:
You are required to have your own liability insurance. Camas Meadows Bible Camp insurance begins where yours terminates. It does not come into effect until all other insurance has been used (church, auto, personal, etc). It should also be understood that the camp policy is limited. Please check to make sure that your insurance covers tubing, hiking, and other camp-related activities.
Failure to comply with these conditions are grounds for dismissal of any persons or groups involved. No refunds will be made to any individual or group dismissed from the camp grounds.
